General Registration Information
Registration for ISSI 2023 will be open February 8 - June 30, 2023. Please email
issi2023@indiana.edu with questions.
All presenting authors must register by April 15, 2023. If you are having difficulty
registering by this date but do plan to attend, please contact us to let us know.

The rooms are limited and this reduced rate is only guaranteed through XXXXX XX, 2027, so we encourage you to reserve early. Room rates will range from $59.81-$174.87 per night.

- Staying in one of these two options is not required - you may make your own housing arrangements elsewhere.
Registration Process
Once you submit your registration, you will receive a confirmation email that will have all of the relevant information for your institution to make a payment on your behalf, or to request a reimbursement from your institution. This email serves as your invoice. There is no separate invoice form.
If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your spam folder. If you do not find a confirmation email there, either your registration or payment was unsuccessful. Should this happen, please contact iuconfs {at} iu {dot} edu.
In the registration portal, you will have the option to pay immediately using a credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). All credit card charges will show on your statement from IUBL-Conference Web.
For those registering prior to June 16, there is an option to send payment by check or wire transfer. We do not allow pay later options for Late and Onsite Registration.
Refund Policy
- The conference office must be notified in writing of a refund request:
- February 8-June15: full refund of the registration fee, minus a $15 processing fee.
- June 16-June 30: no refund of the registration fee, but it is possible to transfer your registration to a colleague.
- Please send refund requests and requests to transfer registrations by e-mail to iuconfs {at} iu {dot} edu.
- Reservations that remain unpaid after 4 weeks will be canceled.
Logistics
Parking
Paid parking is available at the Indiana Memorial Union/Biddle Hotel, but it is very limited. See details here: https://imu.indiana.edu/maps-parking/index.html. Airport Transportation
Those traveling by air are encouraged to fly into Indianapolis International Airport (IND) and take a shuttle, which has stops on campus, including at the Biddle Hotel/Indiana Memorial Union and the dormitory housing.
Go Express shuttle runs several times throughout the day; the last pickup at the IND airport in the evening is 10:40 AM local time and the earliest is 6:40 AM. The price is currently $29 each way. https://goexpresstravel.com/bloomington-airport-shuttle/.

Code of Conduct
ISSI 2023 aims to foster and provide a welcoming environment of mutual respect for all people. We have adopted the following code of conduct to provide guidance to all on the type of behavior that is expected while attending this event.
- All participants, including, but not limited to participants, faculty, and staff members, are expected to abide by this Code of Conduct.
- All people are expected to demonstrate the proper respect for others regardless of, for example, age, race, gender, sexual orientation, country of origin, abilities, or professional status.
- Physical, social, or sexual harassment, or intimidating behavior will not be tolerated.
- Do not audio or video record presentations without permission of the speaker.
- Violation of any of these rules may be grounds for disciplinary action and/or dismissal from the event.
