Visa Information

International participants are responsible for obtaining the appropriate visa before traveling to Taiwan. Visa requirements vary depending on nationality. Please check the latest visa regulations before traveling to Taiwan.

Registered participants who require a visa may request an official invitation letter from the conference organizers.

Invitation letters will be issued only after registration and payment have been completed.

1. Visa Requirements

Visa-Exempt Entry Passport holders from 65 visa-exempt countries and jurisdictions are eligible for visa-free entry to Taiwan (including the U.S., Canada, the U.K., EU member states, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and more).   • Passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon entry.
  • No prior application is required; Eligible travelers may enter Taiwan without obtaining a visa in advance.
eVisa (Electronic Visa) Specific nationalities eligible for eVisa (e.g., Turkey, Saudi Arabia). Up to 30 days (Single entry only)
Regular Visitor Visa Holders of passports who do not qualify for either Visa-Exempt Entry or eVisa. Duration of stay and visa validity are determined by the issuing authority.

2. Visa Fee

Optional & Additional Fees

Expedited Service (Rush Handling Fee):

If you need your regular visa processed urgently, an additional charge of 50% of the standard visa fee will be applied. (Please note: Expedited service is NOT available for eVisa applications).

Special Handling Fee (US$ 24 / NT$ 800):

Visa fees for applications submitted upon arrival at ports of entry into Taiwan, or submitted for converting to other visas inside Taiwan.
