Submission Guidelines

ISSI 2027 Call for Papers

ISSI 2027 invites scholarly contributions across scientometrics, informetrics, bibliometrics, science of science, research evaluation, scholarly communication, and related areas. The conference serves as a forum for researchers, research managers, administrators, information professionals, and policy-oriented communities to exchange work on how science and knowledge systems are measured, understood, governed, and communicated.

Contributions may address theory, methods, empirical studies, computation, policy, practice, responsible metrics, open science, artificial intelligence, and evolving knowledge systems. Online submission details will be announced once the official platform is confirmed.

Full Papers and Research-in-Progress Papers

Original, refereed research contributions and research-in-progress manuscripts in scientometrics, informetrics, bibliometrics, science of science, research evaluation, scholarly communication, and related areas.

Special Track

Manuscripts prepared for confirmed ISSI 2027 special-track calls once track details and instructions are announced.

Workshops

Workshop proposals for focused scholarly exchange, training, or community discussion related to ISSI 2027 themes.

Tutorials

Tutorial proposals for structured instruction on methods, tools, data, theory, or practice relevant to the ISSI community.

Doctoral Forum

Doctoral research submissions for constructive feedback and discussion with the wider informetrics and scientometrics community.

Posters

Poster submissions for concise visual presentation of studies, datasets, methods, applications, or emerging work.

Template Preparation Guidance

Authors should follow the formatting, length, and preparation instructions provided in the appropriate ISSI 2027 template for their submission category.

Poster Guidelines

Poster authors should prepare printed poster copies for onsite display. Posters should be prepared in A0 size (841 x 1189 mm, portrait orientation).
